In-home care in Gainesville, Hoschton and Braselton

In-home care in Gainesville, Hoschton, Braselton and Flowery Branch around Lake Lanier. Personal care, meals, memory support and help after a stay at NGMC.

Hall County is older than the core counties of metro Atlanta. About 16.3% of Hall County residents are 65 or older, and in Gainesville the figure is 14.8%, according to the Census Bureau's 2020 to 2024 American Community Survey. Between Gainesville, Flowery Branch and the 55+ communities near Hoschton and Braselton, there are a lot of older adults who want to stay where they are. Tale Circle Care sends caregivers to help them do it.

How we help families in Gainesville and around the lake

Whether your parent lives in an older house near downtown Gainesville or a newer home in Cresswind at Lake Lanier or Del Webb Chateau Elan, the day-to-day help looks much the same.

  • Bathing, showers, dressing, grooming and toileting, with privacy respected
  • Steady support while walking, standing up and sitting down, and routine transfers within the care plan
  • Simple, balanced meals and regular drinks that follow the family's preferences
  • Medication reminders on the existing schedule
  • Laundry, linens and keeping walkways clear
  • Company and conversation, and familiar routines for clients with dementia
  • Groceries, errands and rides to appointments
  • Respite for a spouse or family caregiver
  • Evening, overnight and extended hours
  • Safety checks and prompt reports to the family

Our caregivers don't give medication or do clinical procedures. When care needs a nurse, we can arrange a licensed one.

Coming home from the hospital in Hall County

Northeast Georgia Health System runs the main hospitals in this area. Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville on Spring Street is the system's 629-bed flagship. Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton opened in 2015 and has grown to 236 beds after an expansion that added ICU floors in 2025. For Hoschton and Braselton it's usually the closer of the two.

Coming home after a stroke or a long stay can mean weeks of therapy appointments and a lot of tiredness. A caregiver helps with the basics in between: meals, bathing and dressing, reminders about the discharge plan, rides to follow-up visits and a watchful eye. Our guide to stroke recovery at home explains what families should expect. If breathing trouble was the reason for the stay, read COPD care at home.
